Tendulkar on course for 6th double century

The amazing Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar completely dominated the third day of the second test against Australia in Bangalore, posting his 49th test century, and featuring in a 308 run partnership, taking India a long way towards a series win.

Tendulkar ended the day on 191, on the verge of his 6th double century, with India 435 for 5, in reply to Australia's first innings total of 478.

Opener Vijay was dismissed in the final session for 139.

India won the first test in the 2-match series.
