The Canterbury second five Sonny Bill Williams has fulfilled his dream of becoming an All Black and is the only debutante named in coach Graham Henry's squad for the end of year tour which features a host of recalled former test players.
Loose forward's Daniel Braid and Liam Messam, hooker's Hikawera Elliot and Andrew Hore, halfback's Alby Mathewson and Andy Ellis, winger's Sitivini Sivivatu and Hosea Gear, first five Stephen Donald and centre Isaia Toeava all return to the squad after absences.
Henry says Williams earned his place in the All Blacks and offered his condolences to injured halfback Piri Weepu.
The All Blacks first game on tour is against the Wallabies in Hong Kong on October the 30th.
