The New Zealand cricket captain Daniel Vettori has blasted the Black Caps batsmen for what he describes as the worst tour in his career after they were humiliated by Bangladesh, losing the final one dayer by three runs and the series in a 4-0 whitewash.
The New Zealand bowlers restricted the hosts to 174 all out before the Black Caps batsmen capitulated to be 20 for five in just the sixth over, effectively handing the game to Bangladesh.
The lower order made the scoreline less embarrassing for New Zealand with Daniel Vettori and Grant Elliot scoring 43 and 59 respectively, but the captain was once again left to rue an appalling performance from his batsmen.
