Man City manager says Rooney not his problem

Manchester City's manager Roberto Mancini has moved to end speculation linking Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney to the world's richest club.

Manchester City have emerged as the favoured destination for Rooney but he'd become a pariah in the red part of town, and Mancini insists the move isn't on. In fact he thinks Rooney could still stay at the club he joined from Everton as an 18 year old.

On the other hand there's speculation that if Rooney insists on leaving, Manchester United will likely be forced to sell their prized asset - worth about 50 million pounds - as quickly as possible before his value depreciates.
