The new NBA basketball season gets underway today with most of the focus on LeBron James who made a lucrative move from Cleveland to Miami in the off-season.
Miami plays one of three matches on opening day at Boston, while Phoenix are at Portland and Houston are at the defending champion LA Lakers.
James expects a hostile reception in Boston, but says being booed comes with the territory....
There won't be a New Zealander in the NBA this season after Sean Marks was released by Washington at the weekend.... Marks had played, albeit limited time, for the last 10 seasons.
