Jonny Wilkinson's shoulder injury is not as serious as first thought, but the England first five remains in doubt for next week's test against the All Blacks at Twickenham.
While a scan yesterday has allayed fears that Wilkinson might need surgery, the veteran first five is still touch and go to be fit for the test on the 6th of November.
Wilkinson's been in sparkling form for Toulon this season which had made him the early favourite to win a starting berth against the All Blacks ahead of Toby Flood.
