Winger Sitiveni Sivivatu's end of year All Blacks tour could be over before its begun.
Sivivatu's due to join the All Blacks, who're currently in Hong Kong, next week having recovered from shoulder reconstruction surgery.
However he's been bracketed in the Waikato starting lineup for Satuday's NPC semi final against Auckland, after suffering a knee injury at training.
Sivivatu came off the bench in last weekend's win over Canterbury in a game which was supposed to go some way to proving his fitness to the All Black selectors.
If Sivivatu doesn't play against Canterbury it casts doubt on his place in the All Black tour party and could open the way for recalls for Zac Guildford or Rene Ranger.
