Andrew Sheridan returns to the England front row after a 20-month absence for Saturday night's test against the All Blacks at Twickenham.

Sheridan's recovered from shoulder surgery, and he'll start at loose-head prop in place of Tim Payne.

The former Kiwi league international Shontayne Hape has the job of containing Ma'a Nonu at second, and Lewis Moody has been retained as captain after recovering from a serious eye injury.

Hape is one of five England players make their first test starts at Twickenham.

And with first five Jonny Wilkinson injured, Charlie Hodgson returns to an England Test squad for the first time in more than two years.

The England coaching staff have said they want to make this weekend's test a "good old-fashioned rugby game".
