The New Zealand Breakers remain unbeaten in the Australian National Basketball League after scoring an 82-78 victory over the 36ers in Adelaide.
The Breakers improved to five and zero after surviving a few scares in the final minutes.
Thomas Abercrombie had game-highs in points (20) and rebounds (nine) to lead the way for the Breakers, while guards Kevin Braswell (19 points, six assists) and CJ Bruton (18 points at 80 percent in his 400th NBL game) gave the 36ers' defence ample headaches.
New Zealand's win extended their best ever start to an NBL season to five straight wins and stretched their current win streak to a club record 11 games dating back to last season.
The Breakers now travel to Perth for the second leg of their 'Doomsday Double' road trip tomorrow night.
