Max Evans okay

The Scotland rugby centre Max Evans was given a clean bill of health by coach Andy Robinson after suffering what appeared to be a worrying injury towards the end of their match against the All Blacks at Murrayfield yesterday.

Evans was put in a brace and stretchered off the field after his head and shoulder collided with the leg of All Blacks number eight Kieran Read.

Last week Evans's brother Thom had to retire from rugby as a result of a neck injury sustained against Wales in last season's Six Nations.

However Robinson told the media later that Max Evans had a 'stinger' to his shoulder and was walking freely.
