The Irish lock Donnacha Ryan is to face a disciplinary hearing tonight after being cited over an alleged stamping offence in their rugby match against Samoa.

Ryan, a 69th-minute replacement for Devin Toner in the 20-10 win, will have his case heard by an independent Six Nations Committee in London.

It will be chaired by Roger Morris from Wales and also includes Simon Thomas (Wales) and Achille Reali (Italy).

Samoa hooker Ti'i Paulo will also have a citing case heard tonight.

He was cited for two alleged dangerous tackles against Connacht on November 9th.
