Team New Zealand has suffered a convincing loss in their only race on day 3 of the Louis Vuitton Trophy yachting regatta in Dubai.
In a dying breeze in the late afternoon, Team New Zealand made a good start against Armetis of Swedin, however they made a bad tack to allow their opposition to close.
The boats came together and Dean Barker tacked away feeling the Swedish should have been penalised, however they weren't, and they held on to take a 21 second win.
After 3 days of racing BMW Oracle is 6 and 0 with Team New Zealand second with a 3 and 2 record.
