Injury question mark over Brad Thorn

6:21 am on 18 November 2010

The All Black assistant coach Steve Hansen says the biggest injury question mark ahead of Sunday morning's rugby test against Ireland is Brad Thorn.

He says the veteran lock has a tight hamstring but is expecting to be right for his 50th test.

Hansen says the forwards have been doing a lot of work on their scrummaging after being being penalised repeatedly on theeir own ball in the wins over England and Scotland.

He says they eant to talk to the IRB referees boss Paddy O'Brien about interpretation of the scrum law because it seems to be favouring the team putting the ball in.

Hansen says if the scrum collapses the team not putting the ball in is invariably penalised, reducing their abillity to try to put pressure opponents.
