The Wellington golfer Mark Brown's five shots off the leader, England's Ian Poulter, going into the final round of the $3.2 million Hong Kong Open.
Brown shot a sizzling five under par 65 for a share of sixth.
Poulter went one better with a six under 64 to be two shots clear of Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell, whose countryman Rory McIlroy is equal fourth with the USA's Anthony Kang. Another Englishman, Simon Dyson, is alone in third, one behind McDowell.
It's the second to last event on this year's European Tour which winds up next week with the Dubai World Championship.
