The Indian poultry giant Venky's have completed their 23 million pounds ($NZ47.2 million) takeover of All White Ryan Nelson's English Premier League football club Blackburn Rovers.
The company's joint-managing director B Venkatesh Rao was in London to seal the deal with the
Venky's have become the first Indian concern to own a Premier League side.
Blackburn, formed in 1875, have been champions of England three times, the last occasion in 1995.
Venky's chief Anita J Desai ruled out tinkering with the club's existing management.
Rovers are 14th in the 20-team Premier League with 15 points from 13 games.
