The Wellington Phoenix have lost 1-0 to the Jets in their A-League football match at Newcastle.
A second half strike from Marko Jesic netted the Jets their second win in the space of a week, lifting them to 15 points on the ladder and back in touch with the top six, while Wellington's woes on the road continue with just one win away from home this season.
The Phoenix are now eighth while the Brisbane Roar remain top despite drawing 1-1 with the North Queensland Fury at Suncorp Stadium.
