Vettori to play second ODI

6:49 am on 1 December 2010

New Zealand cricket captain Daniel Vettori will play in tonight's second one day international against India in Jaipur, however Brendan McCullum remains in doubt.

Both missed the opening match which the Black Caps lost by 40 runs.

Yesterday Darryl Tuffey was ruled out of the rest of the tour with a bicep strain.

The batting looks to be the issue, without Jessie Ryder and possibly McCullum, the responsibilty will fall on Ross Taylor once again.

The Black Caps are yet to finalise their team due to McCullum's injury and if he does play whether he can keep wickets.

Tim Southee or James Franklin look likely replacements for Tuffey.
