The Republic of Ireland football manager Giovanni Trapattoni and members of his backroom team have agreed to take a pay cut from the Football Association of Ireland.
The drop is believed to be "in excess of 5%", amounting to around 175 thousand dollars per year for the Italian.
The FAI has never disclosed Trapattoni's salary but he is understood to be paid just over 3 million dollars a year under a contract which runs to the end of the European Championship qualifying campaign.
The Association is believed to be nearly 90 million dollars in debt.
