Called up Aussie pacemen impress at training

6:31 am on 2 December 2010

Australia's pace bowling reinforcements Doug Bollinger and Ryan Harris both trained impressively in the nets yesterday amid reports that the out of form left armer Mitchell Johnson has been dropped for the second Ashes cricket test against England starting tomorrow in Adelaide.

Bollinger and Harris could both make the playing eleven as Mitchell Johnson and Ben Hilfenhaus, who took one wicket between them in the opening test, watched from the sidelines yesterday.

Later in the day England's practice session was forced indoors because of rain, leading the outspoken former England captain Kevin Pietersen to label the Adelaide groundsman "pathetic" for not having the nets covered.
