Seremone all the way

Ike Unsworth and Seremone jumped two superb clear rounds to take out the third in the New Zealand World Cup series on the final day of the two day three star Feilding A and P Show on Saturday.

The full time rider from Tauranga was all class as he headed off seven other combinations to take victory before a charged atmosphere in the ManField Park indoor arena.

Hot on his heels was New Zealand World Games rider and World Cup series leader Katie McVean of Mystery Creek aboard her second horse Dunstan Daffodil. They picked up an uncharacteristic eight faults in the first round of the very technical Leicester Jarden designed course but flew home clear in the second.

McVean now has a healthy nine point lead ahead of Unsworth as New Zealand's top riders head to the fourth round at the Christmas Classic in Taupo in two weeks' time.
