The Ford driver James Courtney will go all out in today's final 250km race of the V8 Supercar season despite needing to finish just 23rd or better to secure the 2010 title.
Courtney emerged with a 113-point lead over Holden's two-time defending champion Jamie Whincup following yesterday's incident-packed race where both contenders and Ford's Mark Winterbottom came to grief as rain lashed the 3.4 kilometre Sydney Olympic Park street circuit.
But despite nearly seeing his title ambitions dashed in the multi-car pile-up, Courtney says he will be racing just as hard as ever in today's race.
