The former All Black Lawrie Knight has been elected president of the Auckland Rugby Union.
He replaces Don McKay who's stepped down after three years in the role.
Two new directors have also been elected, Nicky Duggan who is the first woman elected to the Auckland board.
Ms Duggan is currently the national sales and marketing manager for The Laminex Group.
