The president of the Spanish Athletics federation has ruled out resigning in the wake of a national anti-doping probe which has cast a spotlight on his organisation.

Jose Maria Odriozola, who has run Spanish athletics since 1989, says although it's the greatest setback in all his years as president, he doesn't intend resigning, despite having to suspend his vice-president Marta Dominguez last week.

Dominguez, Spain's celebrated world steeplechase champion, was one of 14 people, including trainers, doctors and athletes, many with direct links to the National Federation, who have been questioned on suspicion of trafficking illegal substances and endangering the public health.
