The government of Ghana has reacted to threats from FIFA by lifting a temporary suspension imposed on the national soccer league last week after police raided the Football Association in a tax and fraud probe.
FIFA takes a dim view of political interference, and the world governing body warned after last week's police action that the World Cup quarter-finalists could be suspended.
Reuters reports that it's seen a letter sent to FIFA last week in which the Ghanaian government denied meddling in football affairs.
