Pakistan delay team selections over clearance issues

Pakistan's cricket selectors have delayed naming squads for their one-day series here this summer and next year's World Cup because some players have yet to be cleared by the Pakistan Board's integrity committee.

Meanwhile the Pakistan test bowler Mohammad Sami is under investigation after being accused of brawling with a teammate and damaging furniture in a Rawalpindi hotel while he was drunk.

Sami has admitted having a misunderstanding with a fellow player, but he denies being drunk.
