Canterbury remain in the hunt for the domestic Twenty20 cricket title after scoring a six-wicket victory over Otago in Christchurch on Thursday night.
Otago scored 168 for seven which Canterbury reached in the last over with Rob Nicol scoring 75.
Canterbury join Northern Districts on 12 points from four matches, one win behind Auckland in second place.
Otago remain winless.
