Australia stay with victorious squad for third Ashes Test

The Australia cricket selectors have retained the same 12 for the fourth Ashes test starting on Boxing Day after their dominant 267-run win in little more than three days in Perth.

The series is tied up at 1-all, and even the recalled Australian opening batsman Philip Hughes, who had two failures at the WACA has kept his place in the side.

Captain Ricky Ponting rates himself a good chance of playing in Melbourne despite breaking his little finger attempting a catch on Saturday in Perth.

The England captain Andrew Strauss laid the blame for their loss squarely at the feet of his batsman for giving away their wickets cheaply, but he says there's no need to panic and make wholesale changes.
