Josh Hill, the son of former Formula One champion Damon Hill, will make his international racing debut in the New Zealand next month when he competes in the Toyota Racing series.

Drivers from Russia, England, Germany Japan and Australia along with New Zealand drivers will compete in the series, which is designed to develop young drivers in single seater cars.

The five round series will raced in Invercargill, Timaru, Auckland, Feilding and Taupo with the first round at Teretonga Park on January 14th.

Damon Hill says he was surprised his son decided to follow in his footsteps but he's coped well having a father and grandfather who are former formula one champions.
