Inglis decision on moving to AFL expected later this week

A decision on whether rugby league superstar Greg Inglis joins Aussie Rules club club Essendon could be made this week.

Essendon coach James Hird says Inglis and the cub will hold talks over the next couple of days to discuss which code he wants to play in 2011.

Inglis, the former Melbourne Storm ace, has run into hurdles in his bid to join South Sydney as the National Rugby League has so far refused to approve his contract to play with the Rabbitohs.

If Inglis does switch he'd join former Queensland and Australian teammates Karmichael Hunt and Israel Folau, who moved to the AFL.
