Aussie quick takes swipe at 'weak' England cricketers

The Australian fast bowler Peter Siddle has turned up the heat on rival paceman James Anderson, challenging the England quick to prove his toughness by carrying a side-strain injury into the fourth Ashes Test starting at the MCG on Boxing Day.

Anderson, England's most potent strike weapon, is in doubt for the crucial fourth test in Melbourne with the 5-match series locked up at one all.

Siddle says the Englishmen is soft if he's willing to let a minor injury stop him from playing in one of cricket's most iconic matches.

For the fourth test Siddle says he expects Australia to stick to the four-pronged pace attack that was so successful in Perth adding there were early indications that the MCG pitch would have some life for the quicker bowlers.
