NZ Cricket confirms new management structure

New Zealand Cricket has confirmed the new management and support staff structure for the Black Caps.

Changes following the review of the recent tour of India, include Monday's appointment of John Wright as head coach with Mark Greatbatch moving to head the selection panel of Glenn Turner and Lance Cairns.

Trent Woodhill continues as assistant coach, Dave Currie as team manager and Bryan Stronach as trainer.

Performance director Roger Mortimer will continue to work with New Zealand Cricket but will not tour with the team.

Network coaches Paul Wiseman and James Pamment will support John Wright for the Twenty20 series with Trent Woodhill unavailable due to illness.

The Black Caps play Pakistan in Auckland on Sunday in the first of three Twenty20 matches before the test and one days series.
