Chelsea manager concedes the Blues have the Blues

8:16 am on 30 December 2010

Two months ago the Chelsea football club were five points clear at the top of the Premier League, but they're now seven points off the pace in fifth place.

They'll drop to sixth if they lose at home to Bolton later this morning, their defeat at Arsenal on Tuesday means the defending champions have taken just six points out of a possible 21, their worst run in 12 years.

The Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti says the side is lacking their usual spirit.

In this morning's other Premier league fixtures Arsenal will be looking to join Manchester United and Manchester City at the top of the football's Premier League on 38 points when they travel to Wigan, while mid-table Liverpool will be looking to get their erratic season back on track when they host Wolverhampton.
