Australia lose four wickets on rain hit day

The Australian cricket side will resume on 134 for 4 on the second day of the fifth and final Ashes test against England in Sydney.

Senior batsman Mike Hussey will continue on 12 with Brad Haddin yet to score.

Debutant Usman Khawaja briefly lit up a gloomy and rain affected first day with a gritty 37 runs.

Australian captain Michael Clarke won the toss and elected to bat.
