Playing in front of Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, the Townsville Crocodiles steamrolled the Melbourne Tigers in the fourth quarter of their ANBL basketball clash to win 94-78 at the Townsville Entertainment Centre on Friday night.

The Prime Minister joined the Crocs at 'The Swamp' to support the team's Flood Relief fundraising efforts, which netted a total of $AU 55,000 ($NZ 70,804).

On the court, it was Russell Hinder (26 points) and Brad Williamson (18) who combined for 18 points in the final term to do the damage with a range of three-pointers including a monster from down the middle from the latter, with Michael Cedar (15) in support.

Former Croc Corey 'Homicide' Williams (18 points) top scored for the visiting Tigers with Matthew Burston (15) and Eric Devendorf (14) threatening but it was not enough.
