The Perth Wildcats have consolidated their hold on second place in the Australian basketball league while at the other end of the ladder, the lowly Sydney Kings posted just their second win of the season.
The Wildcats thrashed the Townsville Crocodiles 88-68 at home to go to 12 and five, one victory behind the league-leading New Zealand Breakers, while the Kings pipped Wollongong by 10 points, beating the Hawks 81-71 at Sydney Entertainment Centre.
