China's Peng Shuai has caused the first big upset at the Australian Tennis Open, knocking out the seventh seed Jelena Jankovic of Serbia.
The former world number one went down in straight sets 7-6 (7-3) 6-3 in the second round in Melbourne.
It's Shuai's second straight win over Jankovic, who had won their previous five matches.
But it's only the fourth time in 22 attempts she's made the third round of a major, although she reached the semi-finals in Auckland a fortnight ago.
Shuai's returning from an injury-hit 2010, which sidelined her for much of the year and resulted in her ranking falling to 54, her lowest in six years.
