The Australian cricketers are 2-0 up in the series after beating England in the second one-day international at Hobart's Bellerive Oval by 46 runs with five overs to spare.

But it's come at a cost with bowlers Nathan Hauritz and Shaun Tait both suffering injuries in what may be a huge blow for the defending champions' hopes at next month's World Cup.

Shaun Marsh scored one of the great one-day international hundreds, Australia's new No.6 the last man out for a magnificent 110 as the home side recovered from 33 for four to make 230 all out.

The hosts then bowled England out for 184, with Doug Bollinger taking 28 for four.

But spinner Hauritz was taken to hospital with a serious shoulder injury after landing awkwardly while fielding then eight overs later, a left-thigh muscle strain forced short-form specialist Tait to limp off the field.
