The Melbourne Victory skipper Kevin Muscat's A-League football season and career could be over following his horror tackle at the weekend.
A match review panel met yesterday to discuss his tackle which ended the season of Melbourne Heart youngster Adrian Zahra.
They decided it was an act of serious foul play and deemed it worthy of at least a six-match ban.
Muscat's fate will be decided by a disciplinary committee hearing in Sydney on Thursday night.
A 6-match ban would likely end his season and this is likely to be the last season for the 37-year-old.
