The former Scottish football international Andy Gray has been sacked after making sexist comments about a female official as an analyst for Britain's Sky Sports Channel.
Presenter Richard Keys and Gray were both stood down temporarily after they were recorded last weekend questioning whether assistant referee Sian Massey "knew the offside rule" as she ran the line
for the premier league match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Liverpool.
Gray's sacking follows evidence, coming to light in the last 24 hours, of another off-air incident he was involved in last month.
