Djokovic denies Murray Grand Slam glory

British tennis fans are still counting the years after Andy Murray capitulated again in a Grand Slam final, utterly dominated in Sunday night's Australian Open final by Novak Djokovic who won his second Melbourne title 6-4 6-2 6-3.

23-year-old Djokovic said it was a huge confidence booster, following his upset of Roger Federer in the semi-finals, while Murray suggested the Serb had played well enough on the night to have beaten anyone.

Murray hasn't won a single set in his three Grand Slam singles finals, and it remains 75 years since a British male won a major title.
