The former All Black captain Tana Umaga has been selected to start for the Chiefs against the Highlanders in their Super Rugby pre-season match in Taupo on Saturday.
Twenty nine Chiefs and Wider Training Group players are set to get game time with 37-year-old Umaga starting at second five.
The Chiefs were beaten by the Hurricanes in their first pre-season match last weekend.
