SBW in fine shape

The jury's still out on whether Sonny Bill Williams would've been better off sitting out his latest boxing bout to let a stress fracture in his leg heal - but there's no doubt the month in the ring has been great for his conditioning ahead of the Super Rugby season.

The All Black is back running after rejoining the Crusaders on Monday, when he was assessed by the national team's doctor as well as the Canterbury side's medic, doctor Martin Swan.

Williams was told not to run and he'd be fine for boxing, and the injury seems to be healing well and Swan says he's more than happy with the outstanding shape that boxing is well known for delivering its disciples.
