Heated exchanges between Black Caps in player only meeting

There were some heated exchanges between Black Cap players last night, at a players only meeting following their one day cricket series loss to Pakistan in Hamilton.

Allrounder Jacob Oram says captain Dan Vettori called the meeting to discuss why the team's lost 14 of its last 15 matches, with Pakistan taking an unassailable three-one lead into tomorrow's final match in Auckland.

Oram says losing has become a habbit and they're playing some dumb cricket, in losing matches they should be winning.

He says the meeting lasted for an hour and a half as they tried to get to the bottom of their miserable run.

Oram says players can't keep making excuses or, in apparent reference to the rotation policy, seek ongoing explanations.

He says rather they need need to take responsibility for their own game and perform at an acceptable level, no where they're asked to bat.
