Sydney have put a dent in Adelaide's Australian National Basketball League playoff hopes with star centre Julian Khazzouh and emerging rookie Ben Madgen producing monster games in the Kings' 99-90 home victory.
Adelaide overturned a 14-point third quarter deficit to lead briefly late in that term and the game was deadlocked 83-83 in the fourth before a Sydney surge put the match beyond the visitors' reach.
It was Sydney's highest score since their return to the NBL.
The 36ers (8-11) suffered their seventh loss in eight away games, while resurgent Sydney tallied their third victory in their past four starts following a club-record 14-game losing streak.
Adelaide are 7th in the standings and Sydney 9th and last.
