The Melbourne Tigers have kept their slim Australian basketball playoff chances alive with a 70-63 home win over the Cairns Taipans at the State Netball and Hockey Centre.
Led by Corey 'Homicide' Williams and man of the match Matt Burston, who notched a game-high 19 points, the Tigers scored their second victory of the weekend, backing up their three-point win over Adelaide.
Williams grabbed 16 points and was electrifying from start to finish.
