Caroline Wozniacki has reached the final of the Dubai tennis championships by beating Serbian sixth seed Jelena Jankovic 7-5 6-3.
The Danish top seed is already set to return to the top of the world rankings next week and will face 16th seed Svetlana Kuznetsova in the final, after the Russian beat Flavia Pennetta of Italy 6-4 6-4 in the other semi-final.
Swedish top seed Robin Soderling will meet unseeded Croatian Marin Cilic in the final of the ATP Marseille Open after both players won their semi-finals.
Cilic maintained his impressive run of form at the tournament with a hard-fought 6-2 1-6 7-5 victory over Mikhail Youzhny, while Soderling downed another Russian, Dmitry Tursunov, in straight sets, 7-5 6-1.
