The Italian driver Vitantonio Liuzzi looks favourite to fill the last vacancy on the Formula One grid after being called up to test for the struggling Hispania team in Barcelona.
The team, whose other driver is Indian Narain Karthikeyan, said in a statement that the former Force India driver will be in their car for all of tomorrow at the Circuit de Catalunya.
Liuzzi lost his place at Force India to Britain's Paul di Resta.
