Australia's Kristie Smith has won the New Zealand Women's Open golf tournament at Pegasus near Christchurch.
Smith's four under final round of 68 left her 12 under for the tournment, three clear of the overnight leader Giulia Sergas of Italy and the American Tiffany Joh, who move up five places.
The 13-year-old North Shore amateur Lydia Ko moved up four to finish five shots behind Smith in a share of fourth with England's Melissa Reid.
The defending champion Laura Davies finished with a five over final round of 77 to drop five places, slipping to a three way share of seventh.
