Black Caps take Korea series 2-1

The New Zealand men's hockey team has drawn 3-all with Korea at Mount Maunganui in the fifth test to take the series 2-1.

The Black Sticks won 2-1 yesterday after winning 4-1 in Hamilton on Thursday.

They started in Auckland the series with a loss in Auckland before drawing the second test in Hamilton.

It was 2-all at half-time with Stephen Jenness scoring both Black Sticks' field goals before the Koreans went ahead,

Defender Hayden Shaw got the equaliser and afterwards the drag-flick expert told his team mates his 177th test had been in his last.

The 30-year-old says as his not a professional he needs to concentrate on work and spending more time with his wife and their baby son.
