Second half errors cost Crusaders

The New South Wales Waratahs are on top of the table after the opening round of the Super rugby season as the only winning team to score a bonus point as runaway winners by 43 points to nil over newcomers the Melbourne Rebels.

One of the feature matches of the round resulted in a win for the Auckland Blues over the Crusaders 24-22 in a high quality match on Saturday night at Eden Park.

The Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder says they worked their way into a winning position before making a few critical errors in the second half.

The Crusaders are in Wellington on Saturday night to play the Hurricanes who'll know today if Ma'a Nonu will be available or not after he was shown two yellow cards and sent off in their opening match loss to the Highlanders.
